Consider the time you spend in Eternity (Heaven or Hell) vs the time you spend here on earth.
And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don’t need to tell them about it, for they keep talking about the wonderful welcome you gave us and how you turned away from idols to serve the living and true God. And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s Son from heaven—Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment.
I Thessalonians 1:8-10
There is nothing like the Living Word of God to bring us life and to bring life to others. The width, length, depth and height of His love manifests as God’s Word reaches into the unreachable places of our hearts to show us who we are and who God is making us to be. It brings everything into order, if we allow it to, as we walk in its truth.
It is obvious from this scripture that the Word should be making such a difference in our lives that it resonates in our every thought and action.
